The Materials Research Society (MRS) is a non-profit organization, which brings together scientists, engineers, and researchers from industry, academia, and government to share new findings in the field of materials. MRS promotes communication for the advancement of interdisciplinary materials research and technology throughout its diverse group of members worldwide. MRS aims to build a dynamic community to advance technical excellence by providing a framework in which materials researchers can convene, collaborate, integrate, and advocate. As a student chapter, we promote these values at Georgia Tech as well as in the surrounding community by providing students with resources and events for academic and professional development such as industry seminars, student-led seminars, quarterly socials, and outreach opportunities. We are committed to providing Materials Science students and researchers a professional resource by connecting them to a variety of industries.
